The Mach 2 uses dual belt clips to spread the load across a wider section of the belt. That added stability helps keep the holster from shifting around during normal movement and gives larger or light-bearing handgun configurations a more planted foundation.

Because 1911 dimensions and manufacturing tolerances can vary between manufacturers, models, generations, and even individual firearms, fitment cannot be guaranteed based solely on make and model. A firearm listed as GO reflects the specific firearm(s) we tested and confirmed fit at the time of testing.
If your 1911 is not listed, that does not necessarily mean it will not fit—it simply means we have not tested that model in-house and cannot confirm fitment.

The Mach 2 is a well thought out design for IWB holsters. I work in the private security field so low profile and discreet holster options are a must for me. The design not only allows for retention, ride height and canting adjustments, but also allows you to move the holster more to the centerline of your body. I find this an excellent adjustment option since I carry extended mags and it is easier to hide the gun profile under my shirt. I prefer metal belt clips but the plastic tacware clips are extremely durable and not like other plastic clips I’ve seen. I also want to review the mag holster I received in tandem of the gun holster. Like I said earlier, I carry extended mags and this holster is able to sit lower on my body than others I’ve had, to prevent visual profile but I can still perform mag changes without any deviation to my natural off hand movement. I will be a repeat customer for Carey Concealment.
