I think that’s exactly the lane Carey Concealment owns. Your copy shouldn’t sound like it was written by a former Navy SEAL who discovered LinkedIn. It should sound like it’s written by the guys who actually spend weekends burning through ammo at matches.
Think professional, self-aware, and a little sarcastic. The joke isn’t the product—it’s the absurdity of overbuilding for problems your customer doesn’t have.
Here’s the tone I’d aim for.
AIRLOCK™ Level 2 Competition Holster
Because the only thing getting tackled at your match should be the stage.
The AIRLOCK™ is a purpose-built Level 2 holster for competitive shooters. It gives you the confidence to run, climb, crawl, and generally make questionable athletic decisions without worrying about your pistol leaving the holster before you tell it to.
Unlike duty holsters designed for rolling around in parking lots with angry people, the AIRLOCK was built for a different mission: keeping you in the match.
A spring-loaded retention hood locks your pistol in place while you move. When it’s time to shoot, a natural downward thumb press releases the hood as part of your draw, giving you a fast, intuitive presentation without extra gymnastics.
Simple. Fast. Reliable.
Because getting DQ’d over a dropped pistol is a pretty expensive way to save a few bucks on a holster.

Why AIRLOCK?
You don’t need a holster built to survive a prison riot.
You need one that survives your interpretation of “athletic.”
The AIRLOCK gives you Level 2 retention without carrying around half a pound of injection-molded plastic designed for problems you’ll (hopefully) never have.
Just secure retention, a fast draw, and one less thing to worry about when the timer beeps.
I also think you can sprinkle in small bits of humor throughout the page rather than making one big joke. Things like:
- “Keeps your pistol where it belongs. Mostly because gravity can’t be trusted.”
- “Engineered for aggressive movement and occasional lack of coordination.”
- “Built for competitors. Not bounty hunters.”
- “For people who run stages, not warrants.”
- “Because DQs build character. We’d rather build holsters.”
- “Runs great. Unlike most of us after Stage 5.”
That style feels authentic because the humor comes from shared competition experiences instead of trying to be edgy. It gives the brand personality without distracting from the product. I think that’s a niche very few firearm companies occupy well.
